Dad woke up this morning and informed us he was "Feeling Frisky"! He said he wanted to take us out to breakfast! Well, alrighty then! Let me tell you, we have never gotten ready so quickly!
We took dad to Cracker Barrel for a pancake breakfast! He did wonderful, ate a little, and then came home for a relaxing nap before we head out the door to radiation and oncology appointments!
Mom and dad decided to put chemo on hold for now. We want to give dad some time to get his nutrients through the feeding tube and then we might consider chemo. I think dad didn't realize how much radiation would take out of him. He decided to resort back to his original thinking which was "quality over quantity".
