I am so sorry I won't be able to be there to give you all big hugs. After receiving the news on Friday, we had huge thunderstorms pass through our area. Afterwards, the most beautiful, humongous, DOUBLE rainbow appeared in the sky, with "color reverberations" too (Dean can probably explain this phenomenon)!! I couldn't help but think that it was heaven's expression of the celebration going on with your dad up there....a single rainbow just wouldn't do!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Christi
Praying for you today.

Dear Murr family,
ReplyDeleteYour dad would have been so pleased with his "home going" service that you so very eloquently did! May you all find comfort in the many who attended! May God comfort and strengthen you all in the days to follow. I will continue to keep you in prayer.
Priscilla, in my heart of hearts I can honestly say, I have never meet a young woman who has step up as you did to “honor your mother and father” …God must be so proud of you! The love that you feel for your mom and dad, is on your face, in the words that you share with us, and in every action you do….may God Himself surround you with His peace and may He hold you so close in comfort that you feel His very breathe on your cheek…
In His Love,
Sharon
Psalm 143:8
I agree with Sharon above Cilla, the service was so honoring to your Dad and honoring to his Savior! I know he would be so proud of you for the way you have handled yourself through his journey to the Gates of Heaven! I also know he would tell you to rest yourself in the Lord and his word and know he will be waiting to hug you again!!!

Uncle Dean
